  Summary: This is actually a baccalaureate thesis from a few years back that has garnered enough vague references on the web that it is thought by some to be a published work. It is a basic overview of Aikido history and organizational structure, mixed with the author's commentary. Some coverage is given to the basic philosophy of Aikido, and to the trends occurring as the art absorbs Western exposure. Modestly illustrated, with glossary of terms and considerable bibliography. Copies may be obtained by contacting the Library Archives department at Arizona State University.
