Originally published in Japanese as Aikido Gijutsu Kyohon in 1983, this book briefly presents basics, with text and photos of Gozo Shioda demonstrating. Shioda says in his Introduction, "This book is designed to promote correct understanding of Aikido techniques, and we have selected some basic movements and tehcniques practiced by all beginners at the Yoshinkan Hombu Dojo and explained them in detail."
