Hidden Roots of Aikido (Aiki Jujutsu Daitoryu), The

Book Summary:

This book reviews some basic to advanced pinning and throwing techniques of Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu. It first briefly describes what are the differences in the three levels of training: Daito Ryu Jujutsu, Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu and Daito Ryu Aikijutsu. After if explains techniques classified into three main categories: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced techniques. In the first movements the author elaborates in the techniques' descriptions, while in intermediate and advanced techniques a more brief explanation is given.

The book is loaded with a big bunch of black and white pictures of the key movements that make the techniques really easy to follow. And then, in some pages it shows some keypoints or tips to perform good technique that are universally valid for all movements in the curriculum of Daito Ryu.
