DAITOKAN 大東館

Name of the former headquarters dojo of DAITO-RYU AIKI BUDO of Tokimune TAKEDA, the late headmaster and son of Sokaku TAKEDA, located in ABASHIRI, Hokkaido. This school represented the historical continuation of the instruction of Sokaku's art and was the center of DAITO-RYU AIKIJUJUTSU activities while Tokimune acted as headmaster. The dojo closed its doors in 1994 about a year after the death of Tokimune.
