INOUE, TAKESHI 井上武

(b. 5 January 1946). 6th dan Tomiki Aikido-JAA [rank authenticated]; 3rd dan judo. Works in real estate development. Began aikido at the age of 12 in 1958, under Kenji TOMIKI and Hideo OHBA. Graduate of Keio University, and special member of the WASEDA UNIVERSITY AIKIDO CLUB from 1963 (at age 17) to 1967. Went to England in 1968 for three years, and taught in association with Bill LAWRENCE and Dr. Ah Loi LEE, among others. Author of Aikido: Kata no Subete (see bibl. ).
