INOUE, KOSHIRO 井上小四郎

(28 March 1868-1941). Younger brother of Zenzo INOUE. B. in Tanabe, Wakayama Prefecture he moved to Tokyo as a young man and achieved great success in the textile and stationery businesses. At one time was one of Japan's richest individuals. Supported the martial arts training of Morihei Ueshiba and Yoichio INOUE over many years. Donated substantial funds for the KOBUKAN DOJO of Morihei that opened in 1931.
