USHIRO, KENJI

(b. 1949). Shihan, Shindo-ryu Karate, inventor, lecturer. B. in Miyazaki Prefecture. Entered karate club of Miyazaki University in 1967. Upon graduation, moved to Osaka where he learned under Okinawan karate master Nikichi Zaha. Electronics engineer and inventor holding more than 60 patents. 7th dan iaido kyoshi of All-Japan Kendo Federation. Author of Budo no Genten (The Roots of Budo) published by AIKI NEWS. Featured instructor at Aiki Expo 2002.
