REYNOSA, LARRY

(b. 10 January 1951). 5th dan Aikikai (1999). Aikido Instructor. B. in Torrance, California, USA. First taught aikido by Nobuo Iseri in 1973. Later trained under FRANCIS TAKAHASHI and, starting in 1983, STEVEN SEAGAL. Co-author of A Beginner's Guide to Aikido (1988). Produced the following video titles: An Introduction to Women's Self-Defense, Basics of the Bokken, and Jumbi Taiso: Basic Warmups for Aikido. Teaches aikido through a Ventura Community College program and to various law enforcement agencies. Established Makoto Aikido Kyokai, Inc., in 2001. This organization is a non-profit corporation having a direct organizational link with the AIKIKAI HOMBU DOJO. It includes member dojos in Germany, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, South Africa, Spain, and the United States. Chief instructor of the Makoto Dojo in Ventura, California.
